BA in Air Transport Management
Course Overview
The BA in Air Transport Management is a full honours degree of 36 months (with top-up routes for holders of a Higher Diploma) designed to produce graduates who can step confidently into a UK air transport management career. You will study strategic operations, network and fleet planning, revenue and commercial strategy, safety management and airport-airline interfaces, and complete a placement with a UK aviation employer. The syllabus is aligned with the frameworks of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT UK) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
By graduation you will be a placement-experienced honours graduate ready to step into management-track roles across airlines, airports, ground handlers and aviation consultancies.
The BA is delivered across three years with a mix of theory, applied projects, an industry placement and a final-year dissertation. Entry Requirements
- A-Levels (BBC or above) or IB (26+ points) or equivalent overseas qualifications
