The Advanced Diploma in Culinary Excellence at LSCAHM is a UK Level 5 senior-track qualification of 12 to 15 months across on-campus, online and distance routes. The course extends the classical brigade into contemporary fine-dining practice, aligned with Craft Guild of Chefs, City & Guilds and Royal Academy of Culinary Arts standards for senior kitchen practice.
By graduation, students are running section leadership across sauce, meat, fish, pastry and cold larder, developing tasting menus, coaching junior brigade members and reporting to head chefs on menu costs, section quality and service performance.

Entry Requirements
- A relevant Diploma (Level 4), Foundation Year, or at least two years of relevant professional experience in culinary practice.
- GCSE English at grade 4/C and Mathematics at grade 4/C or equivalent.
- IELTS 6.0 overall (no band below 5.5) for non-native English speakers.
- One academic or professional reference.
- Applicants with a culinary portfolio (menus, plating photographs, service references) are encouraged to include them.
