Advanced Diploma in Fiscal Policy
Course Overview
The Advanced Diploma in Fiscal Policy is a UK Level 5 senior-track qualification running 12 to 15 months. It equips analysts, policy officers and consultants with a working command of UK fiscal policy: taxation, spending, borrowing, fiscal rules and the interaction between fiscal and monetary policy. The syllabus is aligned with Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy competency, Royal Economic Society reasoning benchmarks and Institute for Fiscal Studies analytical practice.
By graduation you will have produced a full spending-review commentary, a tax-policy note using Green Book conventions, a fiscal-rule appraisal against IFS-style benchmarks, and a capstone case tracing a fiscal package through announcement, implementation and evaluation. Credit transfer into a UK Bachelor's top-up is confirmed at enrolment.
