Diploma in Tourism Management
Course Overview
The Diploma in Tourism Management is a UK Level 4 practitioner foundation of 9 to 12 months delivered by LSCAHM's Hospitality Management department, in partnership with tourism tutors from the Tourism, Events & Food Business team. The programme is aligned with the Institute of Travel & Tourism (ITT), the Tourism Society, ABTA and UKinbound good-practice frameworks, and prepares practitioners for supervisory roles in tour operators, destination brands, hotels and travel agencies.
By graduation, a student is supporting the daily operation of a tourism business, contributing to marketing campaigns, coordinating with suppliers and DMCs, and holding conversations with customers, colleagues and industry contacts to a UK professional standard.

Entry Requirements
- A Level 3 qualification (A-levels, BTEC, Access to HE) or equivalent, OR a relevant Certificate at LSCAHM in tourism, hospitality or a related subject.
- GCSE English at grade 4/C and Mathematics at grade 4/C or equivalent.
- IELTS 5.5 overall (no band below 5.5) for non-native English speakers, or equivalent.
- A personal statement outlining your progression aims into tourism management.
- Applicants with relevant travel-agency, airline or hospitality experience are encouraged to reference it at application.
