BA in Luxury Hospitality Studies
Course Overview
The BA in Luxury Hospitality Studies is an LSHRM full honours degree running over 36 months (with top-up routes available for holders of a Higher Diploma), inside the Hotel Operations and Front Office department. The programme covers luxury service design, high-net-worth guest experience, brand storytelling and ultra-luxury operations, and is aligned with sector references from the Institute of Hospitality, the Institute of Customer Service and Master Innholders principles.
By graduation you will be a placement-tested luxury-hospitality practitioner able to hold service and brand conversations at deputy-manager level inside London luxury hotels and international ultra-luxury operators.
The BA is built around an honours-level dissertation or capstone that is scoped with an industry mentor and connected to a live problem inside a UK or international hospitality business. Applicants develop primary research, analysis and recommendation skills used in graduate schemes.
The BA closes with a graduate-outcomes review conducted with academic tutors, the placement office and (where possible) an industry mentor from the LSHRM network. This review is designed to convert the BA into an actual graduate-scheme entry inside a London hotel group, international operator or hospitality brand team.
