MSc Bioenergy Management
Course Overview
The MSc Bioenergy Management is a research-informed executive LSPE programme delivering a research-informed executive engagement with the operational, commercial and strategic management of bioenergy portfolios across producing and consuming markets, structured over 12 to 18 months full postgraduate route and aligned with recognised UK and international standards across petroleum, refining, LNG, offshore and reservoir operations. Modules are written by former petroleum, trading, renewables and executive practitioners, giving each part of the MSc Bioenergy Management a direct link to how integrated oil and gas majors, independent upstream operators, downstream refining businesses, LNG operators and national energy companies operate day to day.
By graduation, students on the MSc Bioenergy Management will lead, research and set strategy across petroleum, refining, LNG, offshore and reservoir operations, with practical evidence of structured study behind them and a clear articulation route into the next stage of the LSPE energy pathway. The programme places equal weight on subject expertise and on the professional habits that senior managers in integrated oil and gas majors, independent upstream operators, downstream refining businesses, LNG operators and national energy companies expect from graduates entering the sector, so the MSc Bioenergy Management produces candidates who can be trusted with real workstreams from an early point in their appointment.
