Advanced Diploma in Law, Politics and Economics
Course Overview
The Advanced Diploma in Law, Politics and Economics is a UK Level 5 senior-track PPE credential of 12 to 15 months. The programme draws on the three interlocking disciplines of the LSLPE mission and is aligned with the applied competencies referenced by the Political Studies Association, the Royal Economic Society, the Solicitors Regulation Authority and CIPFA, giving graduates a working command of legislation, policy design and economic appraisal in the same seminar week.
By graduation you will have argued a constitutional question at moot, drafted a Green Book five-case business case, produced a policy paper on a UK cross-cutting reform, written a case comment on a Supreme Court judgment, and completed a Diploma project that reads across all three disciplines.

Why Study at LSLPE
LSLPE reads law, politics and economics as three interlocking disciplines: legislation is drafted by lawyers, argued by politicians and constrained by economics, and no serious practitioner works in isolation. Central London places Whitehall, the Royal Courts of Justice, the Treasury, the Bank of England and Chatham House within a short tube ride of the classroom.
Every LSLPE intake joins the same weekly case-room seminar with a named tutor, and the careers service refreshes curriculum alignment annually against Bar Standards Board, Political Studies Association and Royal Economic Society guidance so PPE Advanced Diploma graduates step into cross-cutting UK work with a credible base.
