LLB in Commercial Law
Course Overview
The LLB in Commercial Law at LSLPE is a three-year UK Level 6 honours degree with part-time and accelerated routes available. It is a rigorous commercial-track qualifying-style LLB that reads the substantive law businesses actually run on: contract, sale of goods, agency, commercial credit, security, banking, carriage and international trade. The syllabus is aligned with SRA and Bar Standards Board foundation-of-legal-knowledge expectations, though it does not itself qualify graduates to practise as solicitors or barristers.
By graduation you will have drafted heads of terms, sale-of-goods clauses, security agreements and letters of credit, argued moot points at commercial-court benches, produced disclosure and dispute-management analyses, completed a placement year in a City firm or in-house commercial team, and defended a final-year dissertation on a live commercial-law question.

Why Study at LSLPE
LSLPE is a specialist division of Harold International College of London that teaches law in permanent conversation with economics and politics. The LLB in Commercial Law is delivered in small, tutor-visible cohorts using the case-room and Inns of Court moot tradition, so students argue against evidence rather than absorb it in lectures.
Central London places the Rolls Building, the City firms, the London Court of International Arbitration and the Bank of England within a short tube ride of every classroom. The LSLPE careers service links students to City firms, in-house teams and commercial chambers, and three parallel study modes let progressors and working professionals complete the LLB without leaving employment.
