MA in Event Management
Course Overview
The MA in Event Management at LSCAHM is a UK Level 7 postgraduate programme running one year full-time or two years part-time on-campus, online or by distance learning. The programme frames event management as a strategic discipline that draws on hospitality operations, brand marketing, stakeholder communication and hybrid technology, delivered in a city that hosts some of Europe's largest conferences, festivals and cultural events. Curriculum alignment references Association of Event Organisers, Meeting Professionals International UK & Ireland and Institute of Hospitality standards.
By graduation, students have completed a research-informed dissertation on a live event-management question — sponsorship, sustainability, safety, hybrid delivery or attendee experience — supervised by practising event directors and hotel-based event leaders in London.
