BA in Professional Culinary Practice
Course Overview
The BA in Professional Culinary Practice is a three-year UK Level 6 honours degree with part-time and accelerated routes, aligned with Craft Guild of Chefs, Royal Academy of Culinary Arts and Institute of Hospitality themes. It develops full-brigade professional chefs through progressive kitchen practice, placement and a final-year capstone project.
By graduation, students hold a full technique portfolio, a year-two placement in a Michelin-starred kitchen or luxury hotel group, and a capstone that reads at the level of a junior sous chef brief.

Entry Requirements
- A-levels (or equivalent) at BBB or above, OR a UK Access to HE Diploma with 45 credits at Level 3.
- GCSE English at grade 4/C and Mathematics at grade 4/C (or equivalent).
- IELTS 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0) for non-native English speakers.
- Two academic references and a personal statement describing your interest in professional culinary practice.
