MSc in Tourism Experience Economy
Course Overview
The MSc in Tourism Experience Economy is a 12 to 18-month postgraduate qualification for senior product and experience practitioners moving into executive leadership at OTAs, tour operators, cultural attractions and multi-brand tourism groups. It sits within LSTITM's Tourism Business, Marketing and Operations portfolio and is aligned with the experience-economy reference frameworks used by CIM, IDM, Tourism Society and UKHospitality.
By graduation, students can lead a portfolio of experience-economy products, design a research-informed experience strategy, complete a full postgraduate dissertation and step into a senior experience-economy leadership role.
Postgraduates work through supervised executive studios, live board rehearsal sessions and structured research seminars so every graduate leaves with a dissertation, an experience portfolio and coaching on non-executive board readiness.
Every postgraduate develops a rolling executive experience portfolio across the MSc, gradually building product, board and pricing artefacts credible with OTA and attraction chief executives.
Postgraduate assessment is spread across executive coursework, board rehearsals and a full research-informed dissertation, so students build a coherent long-form portfolio credible with OTA and attraction chief executives.
